Barefoot Therapists

We offer a skilled multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, a Teacher, a Counsellor, Animal & Equine-Assisted Therapists and Allied Health Assistants. A multidisciplinary team approach provides ‘best practice’ support for children and teenagers. We welcome everyone by offering a trauma aware, family focused and neurodiversity affirming practice. We provide services from birth right through the teens and transitioning to adulthood from our centre in Rosebud and our farm in Boneo. Indoor programs suit most children and outdoor sessions particularly suit children where the clinical environment has not been effective or motivating for them to achieve goals. Research suggests better engagement and positive outcomes for managing anxiety when animals, nature and the outdoors is part of the session. We work with you to find the programs which best meet your child’s requirements, whether that is based at our indoor centre, our gardens, our farm, in nature or in the community.

I am a multiply neurodivergent occupational therapist. I carry clinical knowledge (Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice) grounded in my lived experience (my neurotypes include Autism, ADHD, Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum, and Dandy-Walker Syndrome). I have over five years of experience supporting neurodivergent families in Melbourne (Naarm/ Birrarung-ga)'s western suburbs, from Kelior in the north-west to Point Cook in the south-west, and Rockbank in the outer west inwards to Port Melbourne. In my practice, I consciously choose to provide direct support to the family as a whole, not “just” the child or young person in need of immediate support. This looks different for different families. Outside of work, I am a dog mum, a nature explorer, music lover and creative thinker.

Paediatric Play is an In-Clinic and Community Allied Health Service Provider across South Australia. Paediatric Play offer Allied Health services like Occupational and Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Developmental Educator and Allied Health Assistance. Our Multi-Disciplinary team assess and support clients between the ages 2-17 years and above. Paediatric Play use a client-focused and family-centred approach that empowers the client and their families to thrive and achieve their greatest potential.

Talking Matters

Talking Matters is based in the Northern and Southern suburbs, with a clinic location at Elizabeth Downs and Christie Downs. Talking Matters has been supporting South Australian children, families and education settings since 2006, providing speech pathology and occupational therapy services to more than 700 children each fortnight across over 80 schools. This project reflects our commitment to collaborative, preventative and evidence-informed practice that builds capability within communities while improving outcomes for children.

Playfit Therapy is a family-owned practice founded by directors Jordana Bradley (Occupational Therapist) and Andrew Bradley (Exercise Physiologist). With a shared vision to integrate their expertise, Jordana and Andrew created Playfit Therapy - a specialised service that combines movement, play, and functional skill development to support children and young people in everyday life. Together, they bring over 18 years of combined experience to delivering expert, compassionate care. Jordana and the occupational therapy team are passionate about helping children build independence and confidence through meaningful, play-based experiences. She believes every child should have the opportunity to engage, explore, and thrive through play. Andrew and the exercise physiology team focus on developing strength, fitness, resilience, and confidence in teenagers and young adults living with disability, injury, or chronic health conditions. He is a strong advocate for improving both physical and mental health through evidence-based movement and exercise.
