Connect Allied Health Hub has been servicing the community for over 40 years. Previously known as Warwick Physiotherapy Centre, when Physiotherapy was its core service (originally owned by Lois James, followed by Josh and Katie Hay). We have seen the business expand to include many varied services including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Exercise Physiology along with a broad range of classes. In 2019 we co-branded with the name 'Connect Allied Health Hub' to help with the awareness to the community of our centralised facility that offers access to a broad range of Allied Health services – all from the one convenient location. We have recently welcomed four new principal partners to the brand, Chelsea Hetherington, Charlene Naumann and Chloe O’Leary. My Wellness Mindset is a warm and welcoming psychology, counselling and allied health clinic in Caloundra, supporting children, teens and their families. Our team provides child and adolescent psychology and counselling, play-based therapy, family therapy, parenting support, psychological assessments and dietetics. We support families navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, behavioural challenges, confidence and self-esteem, school difficulties, family changes, grief, neurodivergence and more. Our Clinical Psychologist also provides comprehensive ADHD, Autism, cognitive and learning assessments for children aged 6+. Ubuntu Paediatric Occupational Therapy provides mobile, neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy for school-aged children and adolescents across South Western and Southern Sydney, including Padstow, George's River, Menai and surrounding suburbs. I support children and young people with autism, ADHD and executive functioning differences to build skills and independence in everyday life. Areas of support include executive functioning, emotional regulation, organisation and routines, handwriting and fine motor skills, school participation, study skills, daily living skills, and transitions to high school and post-school life. My approach is practical, strengths-based and collaborative, with therapy tailored to the individual child or young person and the environments in which they need to function. Support may include individual therapy, parent consultation and coaching, school-based sessions and observations, and collaboration with teachers and other professionals. I also provide functional capacity assessments and occupational therapy reports for NDIS participants. Services are available for plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants, as well as private clients.
