GRP feels privileged to service the Melbourne community by providing quality Speech Pathology interventions based on the most recent evidence based and goal directed procedures. We are a mobile service as we believe in making each therapy session as convenient and as valuable as possible. GRP Speech Pathology knows that therapy goals are achieved more efficiently and productively when therapy is conducted within the comfort of oneβs own home. This ensures therapy is personalised and targets functional goals that aim to increase participation, socialisation and independence. We come where you want us to go; home, schools, day centres, SIL/DA homes, nursing homes and private hospitals. We service all metropolitan Melbourne areas face to face and remote, interstate and overseas locations via Telehealth. We also have face to face services in Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong.
We offer a skilled multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, a Teacher, a Counsellor, Animal & Equine-Assisted Therapists and Allied Health Assistants. A multidisciplinary team approach provides βbest practiceβ support for children and teenagers. We welcome everyone by offering a trauma aware, family focused and neurodiversity affirming practice. We provide services from birth right through the teens and transitioning to adulthood from our centre in Rosebud and our farm in Boneo. Indoor programs suit most children and outdoor sessions particularly suit children where the clinical environment has not been effective or motivating for them to achieve goals. Research suggests better engagement and positive outcomes for managing anxiety when animals, nature and the outdoors is part of the session. We work with you to find the programs which best meet your childβs requirements, whether that is based at our indoor centre, our gardens, our farm, in nature or in the community.
